Autumn on Lake Pepin, watercolor
on paper quite large, ~ 46 x 26 plus a frame with oatmeal linen liner, glass and 3+ inch wide dark brown wood frame, the Sonoma style Painted from the bluffs just north of Stockholm, WI looking across Lake Pepin toward Minnesota. The landmass ont the opposite side is known as Point No Point because., although looks as if there is a point of land projecting into the lake,instead from above it is revealed that there is actually just a gentle curve in the river. |
