| This
painting involved exstensive research into the most common wildflowers
and flora of the river environs. Many of the most common plants
aren't particularly showy and yet I wanted to include those plants
regardless. I solved that by including them as silhouettes in the
background. If you look closely you can see the river running
subltly through the painting. The original painting is available.
